Village Hall

The small Cotswold stone-clad hall stands at the heart of this lovely unspoilt Cotswold village, overlooking the green and close to the lily-pond. It was built in 2005 on the site of the former Reading Room which had reached the end of its useful life, having been built at the turn of the 20th century by the previous owners of the Wyck Hill Estate to encourage the farm workers living there then to meet and read.

Hiring the hall

Today’s hall is used for village events, which the Village Hall Committee organises throughout the year. It is also available for hire. It can accommodate about 30 people seated and there is a well-equipped kitchen including a catering-standard dishwasher. French windows open onto a sunny terrace leading via a short flight of steps down to a lawn. Of the two lavatories, one is suitable for disabled. There’s room for two cars to park on the forecourt, but otherwise parking is limited. The space is particularly suited to smaller gatherings and classes.

Booking charges start from £15 per hour with discounts available for half-day, full-day and long-term bookings, and Wyck residents. Further details are available from:
